A.Simon Photography made its debut in 2010 thanks to the encouragement and support of my family and friends. As the daughter of a father who minored in photography, ever since I can remember, I’ve showed an interest in photography. As I got older, I almost always had a camera when my friends got together, elementary through high school everyone knew I was the one to capture those memories. As soon as I would get the photos back from developing, I could hardly contain my excitement and would rip open the envelope. I would flip through the photos, over and over, never getting sick of reliving the moments. To this day, I still look back at those pictures and recall how incredible photography has become and continues to be such a huge part of my life.

I love being able to help other people, through photography I feel as if I am able to capture that moment in time. There is nothing more than getting that priceless shot, the one that stirs up emotion, makes you smile, or perhaps brings tears to your eye—it’s that piece of your memory that you will forever treasure. To me having these memories is so important;
we all know how quickly life seems to move and change before us!
I bought my first digital DSLR camera as a high school graduation present, since then I have owned three different DSLR cameras, and am true born Canon girl. Digital photography has given me the opportunity to play, learn, and create art in ways I never thought possible!
